Skip Platt

Skip Platt has been in the insurance and financial industry since 1982. With his tenure starting in 1988 with Mutual of Omaha, Skip worked with cultivating agents and advisors to build their careers in insurance and financial services. In 2006, Skip decided to start Platt Financial in Charlottesville, Virginia, offering a variety of insurance and financial services.

Skip has obtained the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation from The American College and is a graduate of Emory and Henry College in Emory, Virginia. 

Skip enjoys offering personalized service to his clients including analyzing current situations, identifying important goals and objectives, and building a customized financial plan. Skip believes in the team approach and enlists the advice of his other professionals to help his clients plan for a sound financial future. As a financial firm, Platt Financial has access to many companies in order to obtain products and services suited to help manage the needs of every client.

Born and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia, Skip moved to Charlottesville in 1985. He currently resides in Keswick, Virginia with his wife, Elizabeth Ewing.
